Shaun O’Sullivan has travelled to Wychwood Brewery, in Oxfordshire, to brew this beer especially for this Wetherspoon real-ale festival. This amber-coloured, floral beer uses a blend of malts to create an assertive malt backbone to the flavour, while the firm, distinctive American hop presence is enhanced by aggressive dry-hopping with Cascade. Medallist at the Great American Ale Festival 2013.

Cask handpull at Shakespeare Head Holborn London. Chestnut colour lasting thin beige head. A bit like the Elysian I was expecting more from this collaboration. Yeasty aroma not sure where the malts are going and the finish reminds me of stewed tea. No condition. Not good.
