„Reserved for the most demanding palate. Alhambra Reserva 1925 is a high quality beer crafted to perfection.“ Japp, kannste glauben, oder auch nicht. Wenn Biere damit schon werben müssen... all das in einer grünen Flasche. Bin ich skeptisch? Aber hallo. Optisch klares, sattes Gold, schöne Perlung, ordentlich Schaum. In der Nase hauptsächlich Getreide, Malz, riecht billig, wie Asia-Lager. Im Trunk tatsächlich genauso, plädderich, Reis, süß, leicht metallisch, dann schnell bitter, spät nochmal süß und Alkohol. Zumindest trinkbar, wenn man was Gutes sagen will. Zu scharfem Essen geht’s.

Review based on the BJCP2015 guidelines (style 2A, adapted). Bottle 33 cl - Batch L6382601310 (BBF 17-03-20). AROMA: medium-low to low alcohol note, followed by low cardboard, medium corn and malt. APPEARANCE: intense gold and cristal clear. medium white head with good retention. TASTE: similar to the aroma with medium oxidation notes (carboard), low malt and corn. medium bitterness with a semi-dry to dry and slightly bitter finish. PALATE: medium body with medium-low carbonation. OVERALL: a pale lager with extra alcohol but with oxidation notes.

Sample at SBWF 2018. Golden with a white head. Thin with bread, hay and light grain. The body was light and the finish was medium bitter. Nothing to write home about.

Okay white foam and darker gold body. Dry grains aroma. Flavour is more grains, somewhat fruity, medium finish. Adequate but that's about it.

Slightly lively golden beer, white head. Smell is very light and malty. Taste is.... well it's a lager. A strong one by the ABV but it doesn't exactly hit you. Light hop, a bit of fruit which goes on into the aftertaste and.... not a lot else. It's fine.

Bottle Meteoro. Clear dark golden with white head. Caramel, sweet malts, quite bready, light grassy hops, cane sugar, light raisins. Medium sweet and bitter. Bit over medium bodied with soft alcohol. Meh.
