750ml bottle from the Farm shop at Castle Howard, North Yorkshire. Clear golden colour, no head and aroma of apple, fruity, melon, some hay & hint of sulphur. Taste is very tart green apple, white wine like, sour, with notes of gooseberries, melon, sweet apple, and then some drying tannins. Oily mouthfeel, medium to full bodied, low carbonation, very dry sour lightly tannin finish. Interesting, very drinkable.
