500ml bottle from St Aidenโ€™s Winery, Holy Island - Deep amber brown body, thin white bubbly head. Nose dark berries, caramel, some nuts. Taste nice and well rounded, like Newcastle Brown USED to be. Decent traditional tasting beer.

500ml bottle from the Cheese & Wine shop Darlington. Brown amber colour, frothy off-white foam head and aroma of toffee, mellow, fruity. Taste is earthy malty, chocolate, berry ftuit, and tangy bitterness. Smooth mouthfeel, medium bodied, soft to medium carbonation, tangy malty finish. Quite OK.
