It’s not often we get to play with a wonder hop like Simcoe, so when we got our hands on the stuff, we knew the beer had to be a beast. Introducing Jungle, a loving mix of our new favourite hop and a wicked new yeast, it’s a massive IPA full of huge flavours.

Cask at Station House Spring Beer Festival 2018, Durham. Hazy yellow colour, thin white foam head and tropical fruit hoppy aroma. Taste is malt caramel, alittle biscuit, with mango, juicy citrus and pine, hop resiny bitterness. Smooth mouthfeel, medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry tangy bitter finish. Quite drinkable.

Cask at the Bootlegger, 31/03/17. Golden amber with a decent off white covering. Nose is caramel, sweet malt, earthy hops, orange marmalade, light spice, bread dough. Taste comprises bitter orange, straw, toasted grains, red grapefruit, biscuit. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, drying close with a mellow dose of underlying hop bitterness. Ok cask IPA.
