Bouteille 33cl, BB 04/2018, batch#17/14. Orange trouble, col blanc-beige. Arôme offre ps mal de notes tropicales - orange et agrumes, petit effet rétro de houblonnage à cru avec un renfort de pin et léger résineux. Palais est sec, poudreux avec un effet de poudre d’ail. Pas mal d’agrumes, herbacé, touche orange sanguine et léger fini épicé venant des grains - seigle? et un léger effet de levure.

33cl Bottle, thanks Harmen! Hazy orange-amber colour, off-white head. Aroma of sweet malts, caramel, resin, orange peel, bitter oranges. Flavour is sweet, grassy, bitter orange peel, blood orange, raw, some tropical fruit but mainly bitter orange, marmalade, firm bitter finish. Medium to full bodied. Heavy stuff.

Bottle @ home. Hazy amber colour, white foam. Sweet nose of papaya, litchi. Taste is sweet, fruity with tangy bitterness. A bit raw and grassy, not the best IIPA.

Bottle at home. Pours deep orange, nose is lemony, coconut, grapefruit, cheesy, taste is more cheese, resinous, herbal, quite bitter and dry.

Bottle. Golden pour. Aroma of strong heavy hopping, with caramel, resinous hop, herbal pine and peach. Taste has peach, caramel, mango, resinous hop, spicey pine, grapefruit and yuzu-like herbal creamy vanilla. Weird, I don?t taste mosaic, but sorachi ace. Almost seems like the wrong beer, but the flavor is nice.

Murky deep amber beer, good pale cream colour head. Palate is dry and a little soft, decent fine carbonation. Dry creamy malts, sweet. Mild pine. Citric bitterness. Skunky bitterness. Rich bright citrus and tropical fruits. Juicy mango and guava. Opal fruits! Pink and yellow grapefruit. Fruity dry spicy finish. The full hop gamut here and in spades. Lovely stuff.

Tap@MBCC May 2017, Copenhagen - pours orange amber with a white head. Aroma and taste comprises sweet tropical fruits, prominent grapefruit, tangerine, citrus peel, with good malty backbone, caramel, toffee, resinous hoppy, pine needles, bitter finish.

Bottle at home in London - sourced from Kris Wines. Pours lightly hazy orange-gold with a foamy, off-white head. Ripening citrus in the nose, bread, a little caramel, pine. Medium to heavy sweet flavour, with lots of gooey orange, grassy and piney bitterness, bready sugars. Full bodied, chewy, with fine to average carbonation. Warming and resinous in the finish, with more ripe citrus, orange rind, melon, some tropical fruits, more pine. Solid. Nice punchy DIPA.

There's snot in my bottle. Jebusholycrap this is bitter. Boozy, hoppy, thick and chunky. If you have to have a hoppy IPA, make it like this. As my tongue gets used to the bitterness, starting to detect some more flavors. Something buttery going on, sweet, a bit of rye sharpness...
