Can on Miami Beach, Barbados, 10th August 2021. Clear chestnut in colour. Aroma is resin, pine and citrus. Taste is full malts, pine and citrus hops, bitter and well balanced. Good stuff.

As you'd expect. Lots of grapefruit, bit of cat pee, sharp, quite bitter. Maybe a bit too much for me, but nice.

330ml can from CentrAle, Newcastle station. Orangey gold colour, white foam head leaving lacing and aroma of tropical fruits, mango, passionfruit, hop resins. The taste is malt caramel, some biscuit, with tropical fruit notes, spicy citrus, woody pine and hoppy bitterness. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry earthy bitter finish. Very drinkable IPA.

Can from The Beerhive. Hazy golden body with a medium white head. Low carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of cigarette butt, green pepper and earth. Flavour of onion, underripe pear and a metallic, bitter finish. Medium body with an oily texture. Soft fizz. I was really looking forward to this super-fresh IPA (canned just nine days ago) but the aroma is weird and it’s tastes bitter and mostly savoury. I normally love Almasty beers but I couldn’t finish this.
