Pours a deep red-copper color. A special batch of Inis & Gunn beer was brewed and matured in oak for 60 days; 30 days in American oak barrels, and 30 days in navy rum barrels. It was then matured 47 more days for a full marriage of flavors.
NOTE: Rum Aged, Rum Finish & Oak Aged Rum Finish are the same beer as Rum Cask. They are an alias for different export markets with a tweaked process.

Ein schottisches Bier aus dem Rumfass - ja damals gab es sowas auch schon. Es hatte feine erdige, holzige Aromen gemsicht mit ein bisschen Rumtopf und Vanille. Ein durchaus interessantes Gebräu.

Bottle @ Alquitara. Dark coppery colour with an average duration of a beige head, slightly creamy. Aroma is malty, toasty, and slightly spicy. Flavor has sweet notes at the beginning with a mild bittery final, buttery, spicy. Creamy and rounded on palate.

Bottle from Tesco. Poured a dark treacle brown colour with a fluffy thick tan head. The aroma is sweet rum, although not strong. The flavour is dominated, as you might expect, by the oaked rum barrels! There is a hint of sweetness and measured bitterness on the palate. A lovely heart-warming ale that tastes good all year round, but even better in the winter.

330ml bottle, served in Innis & Gunn stemmed glass. Clear dark brown amber–red colour, frothy tan head that dissipates, with an oak & vanilla aroma. Vanilla pods taste balanced against rum sweetness and a slight hoppy bitterness, some initial fairly dry mouth feel.
