Duchessa, our spelt beer, is a typical product from our territory. Inspired by traditional Belgian Saisons, it persuadues you with its pleasentness and fresh elegance. The creamy and abundant head releases fruity (banana, pineapple, tropical fruit) and floral aromas which are animated by a slight pepperiness. Its fine carbonation, slight acidity and moderate hop profile make for a fresh beer that is never overpowering and is pleasant from start to finish.

Bottiglia.

Aroma of biscuity malt, fruits, citrus, yeast, a little spiciness, some hops. Flavour is moderate sweet with a light to moderate bittersweet finish. An okay Saison, though it could have done with some tartness. *** 02-07-2017 Bottle a year past expiry date given as a freebie. Very drinkable still, ironically this has gained what appears to be a mild tartness. Lots of apricot. Has aged gracefully.

330 ml bottle. Unclear yellow golden with a creamy head. Loads of banana, clove, pineapple juice, banana bread, dried banana, some lemon, Belgian yeast, coriander seeds.Banana sweetness. Medium bodied, oily texture, lively carbonated, dry fruity sweet finish. Banana overkill, feels more like a Hefeweizen, not a Saison.

Hardly a saison. I like the spelt but not sure why there's all this sugar in here. I thought maybe it was faux honey at first. Love the bottle shape, tho.

Heel goed.

Nice beer. Well brewed. Has the saison hotspots. Not quite as dry, more round. But has the slight coriander spice, which likely are yeast phenols. Ah beer adventkal 2021
