19/7/2024. Cask at the 2024 Chelmsford Summer Beer & Cider Festival. Pours clear golden amber with a small frothy white head. Aroma is fruity, citrus, malt, caramel, biscuit, grass. Moderate sweetness and medium bitterness. Moderate body, oily watery, soft carbonation. Fruity earthy bitter finish. Nice easy drinker. Interesting to have been able to contrast this with the oak aged edition tried in Norwich, which I gave a 3.1 score, the woodiness of that one had made it a very different drink.

500ml bottle from Bowes Christmas Market stall. Golden colour, white foam head leaving alittle lacing and aroma of biscuity malt & citric hops. Taste is malt, biscuit, some caramel and grains, with a floral citrusy hop bitterness. Light bodied, soft carbonation, dry dusty bitter finish. Quite OK.
