A crisp light ale, with a refreshing elderflower and lime kick. My wife's answer to the Ex Wife a truly lovely pale ale.

7/6/2018. Bottle from CentrAle, Newcastle. Pours pale gold with a bubbly off-white head. Aroma is a quite pleasant herbal/fruity mix of lime, lemongrass, ginger, citrus and elderflower. Moderate sweetness and bitterness. Moderate body, oily and watery texture, average carbonation. Quite enjoyable.

On cask at the Guildford Arms. Appearance - golden with a decent head and a slight haze. Nose - elderflower and citrus as the description days. Taste - plant stalks and lime. Palate - light bodied with a creamy texture and a long dry finish. Overall - good brunch ale to kick off the day.

Cask at Northallerton Beer Festival 2016. Pale golden coloured, white foam head and slight malt aroma. Taste is light malty, some fruity citric notes, zesty, elderflower, slight ginger tang and light bitterness. Light bodied, soft carbonation, dry light bitter finish. Quite OK.
