Belgian Stout in the Irish style: light, dry, and freshly bitter with complex roasted notes. The scent is pleasantly fragranced by the presence of an English aromatic hop particularly appreciated by connoisseurs.

Bottle shared at tasting. Dark brown to black color with a dark red glare coming through when held into the light, average sized beige head. Aroma is malts, dark malts, strong roast in the aroma. Flavor is malts, roasty again, coffee notes. Quite solid.

Tap at Moeder Lambic Fontainas. Dark chocolate brown colour, big golden head. Aroma is chocolate and creamy malt, ovaltine almost, bit roasty. Taste is very smooth and chocolatey. Quite dry too. Lots of grain and wheat. Really malty. Some subtle bitterness towards the end. Lovely. --- Beer merged from original tick of Stouterik on 09 Sep 2019 at 16:06 - Score: Appearance - 8 | Aroma - 9 | Flavor - 9 | Texture - 8 | Overall - 8. 330 ml bottle. Murky black, stable fluffy head. Dry lemon notes, coffee, coconut, toffee, burnt malt. Dry bitterness. Medium bodied, oily creamy texture, soft carbonated, dry bitter finish. Very decent.

Bottle. Almost black colored beer. Cardemom, cinnamon and brown sugar in the aroma. Lightly sweetish flavor, spicy, especially in the aftertaste. Thin, but a well balanced beer.

Chocolate malt and hay aroma. Dark brown with large tan head. Lightly sweet chocolate malt, and mildly bitter dry hay flavor. Body on the light side. Tasty.
