F: off-white to pale brown, stable, big. C: black, opaque. A: roasted and chocolate malt, coffee, hint of fruits, cocoa. T: roasted malts, dry on the palate, chocolate, cocoa, coffee, good earthy/woody bitterness, hint of caramel and liquorice, medium body, medium carbonation, good stout, 0,33l bottle from Färm organic shop in Brussels.

330 ml bottle at The Beers, Lyon. Dark brown to black color with beige head. Roasted malty aroma, coffee, licorice, caramel, chocolate. Sweet and bitter taste like aroma. Medium oily body with soft carbonation.

330 ml bottle, from Vaaland, Bryne. ABV is 4.5%. Very dark brown colour, nearly black. Moderate beige head. Aroma of mildly roasted malts, blackcurrants, chocolate and mild coffee. Light bodied as expected. Dry roasty flavour, notes of coffee, one-dimensional. A hint of berries in the finish, noticeable hops in the aftertaste.

13 oz pour on draft at The Sovereign, served in a snifter. Black with tan head. Aromas of roast, dark chocolate, licorice, coffee. Tastes of roasty notes, dark chocolate, licorice. Medium body with a dry finish. Somewhat creamy. Tasty, nice flavors for a sub 5% ABV stout.

Flaske, delt med Ovesen på årets første bryggedag: brunsvart med flott skum som varer. Ellers er det lett å være enig i rb-omtalen, deilig bitterhet med mørkrøstede malter (pluss noe kaffe, et og annet grtanskudd og et par visne bjørnebær), slank, tørr og meget lettdrikkelig. Staute saker i bare 4,5%.
