Belgian Stout in the Irish style: light, dry, and freshly bitter with complex roasted notes. The scent is pleasantly fragranced by the presence of an English aromatic hop particularly appreciated by connoisseurs.

330 ml bottle from my EU Local Swap 3/2015 sender Anatole, thanks!
Dark brown body, with a big, creamy, dark beige head.
Aroma of coffee, nuts, cocoa, dark bread, dark fruits, some smoke.
Tastes of ash, wood, coffee, dark chocolate, nuts, dark fruits, piney and citric hops.
Medium, slick mouthfeel, with a moderate carbonation.
Finishes dry, smokey, roasty-bitter, with coffee, smoked wood, dark chocolate, some coffee, piney hops.
Very nice. Roasty and smokey, but really easy at the same time. Manifold and balanced, with sweet, bitter and quite a lot of hoppy notes behind the roast and smoke. Great Stout considering the low ABV.

Bottle @ Old Gate, Hebden Bridge. Dark brown with a thin head. Has a fusion of both pale and darker malts. Somewhat dry it has a subdued taste, but remains tasty enough.

Bottle from Pivoteka, shared with Hrabren & Jones. Almost black body, off white head. Sweet, roasty aroma, chocolate, slightly lactic perhaps. Light, very, very roasty taste, chocolate, carrots, maybe yeast too, a touch, a teeny tiny touch tart. Good but not impressed, they can do better.
