This cider takes its name from the ancient Irish wooden tavern tankards called Lámhóg. It is a blend of the finest keeved ciders matured over several seasons. A robust cider with immense depth of flavour and character, complex and spicy with a rich, tannin heavy and long drying finish. Lámhóg is popular amongst IPA and dark beer lovers as it’s full of flavour and very satisfying on the palate.

500ml bottle from Baggot Street Wines. Bright orange golden colour, white foamy head that dissipates away and aroma of mellow apple, woody funk. Taste is tangy apple, slightly tart, bittersweet, with woody oak and leathery.funk with some drying tannins. Light bodied, soft to medium carbonation, semi-dry light tannic finish. Nicely drinkable.
