Milk sugar in your stout is like cream in your coffee. Just enough sweetness to keep the dark roast in check. Rich and robust, our classic Milk Stout exhibits notes of dark chocolate, freshly brewed coffee, caramelized sugar and roasted malt.

dark, coffee-like colour, medium, brownish head; perfectly ballanced aromas and tastes of coffee-bitterness and sweetness with some milky sourish aftertaste; great stout

Location: 12 oz bottle from Buy Rite, 12/23/12, in the Milk Stout Nitro alias bottle

Aroma: The aroma is a touch light, with some sweet malts, milk, chocolate, roast, and caramel
Appearance: It pours a dark brown color with a small light brown head and light lace spots
Flavor: Tastes light-medium sweet, a little roasty, with some milky flavors, and a light bitterness
Palate: The body is medium, it has a fairly creamy feel, a short duration, and a lightly dry finish
Overall Impression: I was really surprised I hadn't rated this one before, but that just meant it needed to be rated now. Anyway, this is a solid Milk Stout, it is plenty drinkable and has a creamy feel, but it just doesn't really go beyond that solid level.

Refrigerated 12 oz. brown bottle poured into a shaker. Pours black with dark brown hightlights and small beige head. Little lacing, medium body, medium carbonation, and great milk chocolate aroma. Taste is lactose, roasted malt, some dark chocolate, and a hint of coffee. Pretty good.

355 ml bottle received as extra in trade. Thank you adnielsen! Labeled Milk Stout Nitro. Pours black with a rather small creamy pale mocha head that slowly dissipates while sticking to the glass leaving some trace and lacing. Smell is sweet and malty with roasted malts, sweetened cream, charred wood, milk chocolate, buttered dark bread, liquorice root, coffee, black beans and moist soil. Taste is sweet, bitter and malty with roasted malts, pumpernickel bread, clotted cream, dark roast coffee, bitter chocolate, dry wood, lemon grass, burnt cookies and hints of metal. Mouthfeel is soft, round, tiny watery and light bodied. Finish is slightly sweet and bitter with roasted malts, buttered dark bread, dark roast coffee, bitter chocolate, moist soil, clotted cream and liquorice root. Nicely drinkable...
