Bottle at home in Hackney - picked up at a local bottle shop. Pours totally clear yellow-gold with a modest, foamy white head. Very simple pale bread in the aroma, with a sprinkling of pine needles. Light sweet flavour with more pale malts, damp bread, minimal bitterness, some lemon peel and more pine needles. Light to bodied with fine to average carbonation. More bland pale malt character to finish, a hint of biscuit and pine. Overall, it's drinkable (so it water) but I just don't get the point. This tastes almost nothing like higher alcohol beer. Nobody would substitute a 'normal' IPA for this and enjoy it. Are there people out there who just enjoy vaguely malty water? If so, I guess that's the target audience.

330ml bottle. Pours clear golden with a minimal white head. Aroma is hoppy, fruity pine. Taste is a bad mixture of artificial fruit sweets and chemicals, not sure if this is a bad bottle but it's borderline undrinkable. Light bodied, thin, almost flat carbonation. Appreciate what this brewery is doing but this particular beer (or just this batch? 003 BBE 06/18) is awfully executed, I didn't attempt to finish it. Willing to re-rate in future if I come across it.
