Bottle from Speciaalbierpakket. Aroma is bready malt, caramel, spices, toffee, ripe fruity notes including a touch of banana, yeast, mild sugar, with some herbal notes. Flavour is above medium sweet and light to moderate bitter. Body is medium. Not really my kind of aromatic profile, but I can’t find fault in this either.

Flesje gekregen van Tomhendriksen. Amberkleurig bier met matig schuim. Geur is licht fruitig, ik denk aan pruimen. Smaak is bitter en toch wat fruitig met in de verte een koffie-achtig smaakje dat net iets langer blijft hangen.

Kruidig, kandij, butterscotch. Vrij zoet. Prima

Tap, Cafe Morshuis Albergen. Amber color. Yeast and a hint of banana in the aroma. Yeasty flavor, malty with a hint of caramel. Yeasty finish. Somewhat disappointing

Geprobeerd met Inoven, Roelzie1986 en Benzai op het Nederlands Speciaalbier festival in den Bosch. Het is een oranje bruinig bier met een volle schuimkraag. Het heeft een zoete moutige geur. De smaak is moutig, zoet en fruitig.

Tap at Rootz winterbier. Hazy amber with off white head. Sweet malts, caramel, leathery, old leafs. Moderate sweet and bitter. Medium body, soft and slick. Soft carbonation.

Tap at Rootz festival. Bit hazy amber with bubbly beige head. Light spices, bready, soft caramel, cloves, light spicy yeast I think, banana and peach. Medium sweet and bitter. Medium bodied with a bit bready feel. OK.

Brown colour with light haze and fluffy head. Aroma is a little grassy an dhas some wood too. Flavour is bittersweet with caramelised red fruits and earthy hops. Lots of woody dryness in the finish.

Sampled @ NL Speciaalbier Festival Den Bosch 2017. Unclear dark orange to reddish color, medium sized beige head. Smell and taste malts, lightly bitter, herbs or spices, blossomy. Not bad but I don’t really dare to like it either.
