Be careful with this one! There's so much cocoa and coconut jammed into this can that it's actually a safety hazard. Don't take your eyes off it or you might end up getting blown away by a fiery volley of Cannon Fire!

Can from Hop Hooligans. Can exploded all of a sudden, with only about 5 cL remaining in the can. Didn’t know the name was to be taken literally, cause the explosion was a bit like a cannon fire. Small head with short duration. Color is black. Aroma and taste are rich coconut, roast malt, chocolate, little caramel, some sour berries and hops. Sweet coconut finish.

Can from Honest Brew. Black body with a thin beige head. Faint lacing. Aroma of ash, wood, dark chocolate and blueberry. Flavour of dried coconut, dark chocolate and charred wood. Medium body with a slick texture. Soft fizz. It’s nice but a touch harsh.

500ml can. Quasi black colour with average, thick, frothy to creamy, moderately lasting and lacing, beige to tan head. Intense coconut aroma, widely disguised, roasty, dark malty background. Taste is sweet dark malty, slightly artificial notes of coconut, coconut pith, Bounty, some coffee and milk chocolate. A bit overdone.

500ml can. Pours black with a tan head. Aroma of coconut, with a bit of chocolate and roasted malts. Taste is intense coconut, chocolate, roast malts, bittersweet. Medium body, soft carbonation. Lovely porter, though I do wish it was a bit thicker, and a bit more chocolate alongside the intense coconut.

On tap at Beer O'Clock 2, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma brings out cocoa, licorice and some toasted malt. Flavour is fairly dry, with toasted malt, licorice and a hint of cocoa. Light and fluffy on the palate. Decent stuff.

50cl bottle share @ Niamey's 3rd craft beer tasting, big cheers to Madalin for logging around 30 Romanians bottles to Africa. BB 18/03/2018; lot#04BALLS. Brune, col beige.
