Gravicask, Cider Bar, 1/3 pint shared with Finn at GBBF Winter '23. Clear pale reddish body, poor lacing, a few patches on the surface. Mid-dry berry skins on the nose. Moderate flavours of sweet berries and dry rhubarb. Ends sweet. Sweet soft drink impression. Just about drinkable. (Burton upon Trent, 17.02.2023).

Bladder Bag at the GBBF Winter 2023 Festival, day 2 at Burton On Trent Town Hall, 17/02/23. Pinkish pour with a thin crimson covering. Nose is tangy strawberries, grains, straw, tannins. Taste comprises light rhubarb stalk, tangy strawberries, any apple presence is rather hidden, straw. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, drying close. Not bad for a fruit cider, not the sweet mess that the others at this festival were, the ingredients here kept it a touch tarte and drinkable.

BIAB sample courtesy of Grumbo from Peterborough beer festival 2019, cheers Graham! Bright orange-pink colour, afew bubbles on top and aroma of sweet strawberry & jelly flavourings. Taste is sweet, strawberry, vanilla, rhubarb hint, jelly, sugary. Syrupy mouthfeel, medium bodied, low carbonation, sweet jelly crystal finish. Like drinking strawberry jelly that hasn't set!

23/8/2019. From bag in a box at the 42nd Peterborough Beer & Cider Festival. Pours clear pale pink with a very small white head. Aroma of sweet rhubarb, fruit cordial and berries. Medium sweetness, very light tartness. Moderate body, slight watery texture, soft carbonation. Sweet finish. Ok.
