Our realm is full of exotic beasts – none stranger than the fabled ChamALEon. This curious creature adapts its characteristics and flavour on a whim, changing as often as the wind. Though constantly evolving, it’s form remains constant. This extraordinary extra pale ale is made with oats for great palate fullness and mouthfeel, and packed with glorious Citra & Mosaic hops.

26/4/2019. Bottle, sample, courtesy of Danlo, cheers Ed! Pours slightly hazy pale gold with a nice looking but short lasting bubbly off-white head. Aroma of butter, grain, hops, spruce, citrus fruit and a hint of berries. Medium sweetness, moderate bitterness. Medium body, slight oily texture, soft carbonation. Nice bitterness picking up to finish. Quite pleasant and drinkable.

330ml bottle from Hop & Vine, Hull. Slightly hazy yellow gold colour, large foamy white head leaving lacing and fruity aroma with yeast, pale malt, mellow hops. Taste is tangy, pale malt, grainy, fruity, yeasty funk with some citric zest and hop bitterness. Light bodied, soft carbonation, dry tangy finish. Quite OK
