At Rich’s Massive Cellar Emptying Tasting. Uncle Jacob Avery 16.53% 2013. Deep brown/black with a purple edge to it. Harsh bourbon maple syrup sweet maltiness. Raspy mouthfeel on a med-full body. Incredibly boozy, harsh, maple syrup, bourbon, caramel nice but way too boozy in my opinion.

Bottled:
Sweet and sticky. Packed with raisins, chocolate, toffee, oak barrels and Bourbon. Warm, somewhat boozy finish yet smooth and balanced.

Bottle @ Zeebra 2015, small sample. Dark color, short head. Aroma of chocolate, roasted malts, some vanilla. Quite thick and a bit boozy. Bit too heavy on malty sweetness and alcohol.
