A light golden beer with a good balance of malt & fruity hops. Don't be fooled though, as the sweetness is followed through by a sting of bitterness.

Bottle from Northumbrian Gifts. Light hazed gold with small consistent white top. Aroma has a grainy and cereal malt, quite fusty, semi-sweet with fruity hop hint. Taste follows, sweet to start but a nice bitterness runs through. Decent near medium body. Nice balance. Has a clean farmhouse cereal beer taste to it without the yeast character. Quite good.

26/3/2019. Cask, sample, from Darlington Beer Festival @ Voodoo Cafe, courtesy of Danlo, cheers. Pours clear golden with a small bubbly off-white head. Aroma of slight spicy hops, sweet malts, fruit and straw. Moderate sweetness, bitterness and body. Slight oily texture, soft carbonation. Some fruity bitterness to finish. Ok.

Bottle shared with Ashton McCobb. Aromas of light honey, cereal. Taste is sweet up front. The promised balancing bitterness does make any appearance eventually. Orange pith.

Bottle from the Green Shop in Berwick upon Tweed. Appearance - golden and clear. Neat lacy head. Nose - light honey, cereal. Taste - more honey and orange as well this time. A light touch of bitterness on the end. Palate - light to medium bodied. Creamy texture and fairly food finish. Overall - ok.
