Cremiger malziger Beginn, bei dem sofort Chili mit Wucht in den Vordergrund stürmt. Etwas schokoladig, scharf, süßer Hintergrund, etwas Kaffee. Schokolade und Chilli zum Abgang, brennend. Speziell, ein Hauch weniger Schärfe würde die anderen Aromen besser zur Geltung bringen. 13/9/8/11//10

330mL bottle, pours black with a large beige head with long retention. Aroma is highly spiced, with intense nutmeg, light chili peppers, and cinnamon. Flavour has a lot going on - I detect rich roasted malt providing the body for cinnamon, spicy peppers, nutmeg and cocoa. Perhaps there's some vanilla and coffee further back. A bit too jumbled and the carbonation is abnormally high, indicating some slight issue with this. It's a fun beer, but a bit messy and not exactly properly dialed in.

Bottle at Craigs. Pours deep brown, nose is capsicum, roasted, chocolate, taste is sweet toffee, creamy, roasted, bit of heat, light fruitiness.

Bottle at Craig's. Pours opaque dark brown with a thin beige head. Aromas of chocolate and cinnamon, light chilli. Taste is hot, chilli heat. Coffee, lactose. Hot finish.

Black with medium brown head. Aroma is cocoa beans peanut butter tonka cinnamon chocolate. Taste is dark chocolate with lots of cinnamon and a bit of habanero spicyness. Ginish of cinnamon and bitter chocolate. Quite smooth. Chocolatey. I like it.

330ml bottle thanks to Cez and Chris. Pours black with a thick tan head, slowly dissipating. Aroma of chocolate, coffee, roasted malts, cinnamon, nutmeg. Taste is similar but the spices are much more prominent... chocolate, coffee, roasted malts, cinnamon, nutmeg, lactose, finishes with a decent kick of chilli, quite warming. Medium-full bodied, average carb. Pretty good.
