Dom and Cassie found two ancient pear trees among their apples: the last of their kind. Hard to pick, hard to press but exploding with juice. We blended them with conference pears and left them for even longer than usual. We’ll take cuttings from those trees and hope for more.

330ml stubbie style bottle from Bignose & Beardy. Pale hazy yellow colour, no head and aroma of mellow pear, vinegary funk. Taste is sharp, vinegar, tart fruity, fleashy pear, some pineapple, citric acidity, plus a hint of straw. Medium bodied, low carbonation, dry peary funky finish. Nicely drinkable.
