On tap @ Animal. Golden with an off-white head, good and easy formation with good lasting. Aroma has fresh hoppy notes with citrus, yeasts and good maltiness. Flavor has a high presence of yeast, like a Belgian Tripel, notes of citrus with a mild bitterness, slightly caramel and marzipam. Citrusy and bittery final.

Tap at Borefts ’13, 28/09/13. Hazed amber with a good sized white head. Nose is tarte fruit, soured apricots, sugars, light floral notes, orange. Taste comprises orange pith, candied sugars, tarte apricot, light hop billing, straw. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, dry finale with a little grassy bitterness. Decent stuff.

Appearance: Cloudy pale brown color with a thick creamy white head that leaves a fine lacing.
Aroma: Mild acidic, citric and yeast.
Palate: Medium to full body. Moderate sweet, and a rich bitterness. Rich carbonation.
Taste: Fruity, yeast, malty, light acidic and some spices. Some alcohol.
Overall impression: Powerful evening sipper.

Draught at Delirium Brussels. Cloudy gold-orange with lace. Fruity, estery nose, orange, melon, bread, nice cloves, a bit spicy. Flavor starts out sweet and jammy, then dries out quickly in a farmhouse way, becomes, dry, slightly funky and dusty. Oily palate. Bitter finish. Decent stuff.

Another nice beer in the ’3 Koningen’ series. Blond/copper beer, very hoppy. In between a British strong ale and a Belgian yeasty double ipa.

Tap at beerlovers bar. Pours unclear blonde. Small white head. Smell is mild malty, tad sweet. Very remote grassy notes. Taste is full, bit bitter, dry, grassy. Powdery hops. Typical morpheus character, which does work in this beer. Wouldnt really call it an IPA though.

Tap at Borefts 2012 - Bodegraven. Pours very cloudy gold with a strong, frothy white head. Definte tang in the nose, moderate brett, tangy citrus. Medium to big sweet flavor with tangy orange mostly. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Sugary finish with doughy malts, ripe and tangy orange, tangerine. Alright overall.

Bottle shared with Vetiafan. The colour is brownish orange and is very unclear with a big frothy light beige head. Lots of spices in the aroma with herbs, Belgian yeast, hay, pale malt, lime and some hops. The flavours follows up with the same but feels more malty with a touch of wood, and has a dry ending. Balanced and nice. Has a smooth and slick mouth feel, and a medium bitterness. A well-balanced and solid strong Belgian ale.
