There are two ways of making American IPA. One is when you make beer from basic ingredients with basic techniques, and the added American hop will give the beer its character. The other is when you try to uniquely balance the flavor with the American hop, giving the beer its own character. Flying Rabbit is the latter. We use 5 different kinds of malt during brewing, then we add the popular Citra hop. It smells and tastes like a tropical fruit, starts out sweet with a bitter aftertaste. It was born to fly.

Bottled. An amber beer with a lazing beige head. The aroma has notes of citrus fruit, caramel, malt, and hops. The flavor is sweet with notes of citrus fruit, malt, caramel, and hops, leading to a bitter finish.

Bottle, thanks Bert! Light hazy amber with a HUUUUGE head that just lasts forever. Spicy, piney nose in the traditional West Coast bitter/tarry style (but not super dank & fruity like the modern ones). Great caramel balance on the tongue to even it out with a long hoppy aftertaste. So close, it's hard to believe it's made in Budapest and not USA!
