tap takeover at The Markies, Amber, mahogany hazy, small white head, woody, slightly sour, very smooth, gentle, lots of red/dark fruits, some raisins, a bit dry. nice sipper

Bottle. Color: Copper, very thin off-white head. The darkest tripel I've ever seen… Aroma: Malt, dark fruit, Whiskey. Taste: Medium sweet, malty, subtle but clearly present notes of Whiskey, bit boozy. Notes of wood, bit wry tannins. Dry-ish and bit warming alcoholic mouthfeel. Medium to over medium body, almost none carbonation. Nice beer, one of the most interesting Tripels I''ve had so far, although and because it's very different from by far most of other Tripels. If only this beer had some carbonation...
