From tap at Speciaalbier Café De Markies, Leeuwarden. Malty and woody aroma with sweet ripe fruits, soft marzipan, oak, soft whiskey, yeast, fruity, notes of grapes. Bit vinous, sweet and heavy. Big beer, but not alcoholic. Very nice, one to sip on for a little while.

Aus der Flasche (bbe 11.2020) im 2021-03 getrunken. Dieses Tripel kommt leicht trüb und rotbraun daher. Neben dem schönen Bananenaroma kommt ganz deutlich der Einfluss Whisky BA durch, was sicher für die tollen Malz- und Traubenaromen verantwortlich ist. Ein Bier was einfach richtig viel Spaß ins Glas bringt.

Bottle from Etre Gourmet webshop, Belgium. Had this Saturday 2nd May 2020 listening to Craig Charles Funk and Soul Show on 6Music and then on a video call with the München Ratebeer Gang. We've just had Cannelloni and also earlier cooked a few Moussaka meals. Pours murky brown with an off white head. A little funky on the nose but also fruity and a touch boozy. In the mouth it's a bit of a mess, tart, funky, fruity, sweet and yet a little sharp. Orange and toffee and boozy are two of the flavours I think that I get, but overall whilst ok it's a bit of a mess.

Sampled at Borefts Beer Festival 2019, day 2. Hazy amber color, average sized white head. Smell and taste malts, some weird mix of apples, apple peel, warming alcohol. Hmm no, not a fan.

Bottle, brown color. Raisin, dried red fruit, bubblegum and a hint of whisky in the aroma. Malty sweet flavor with dried red fruit, bubblegum, hints of oak and whisky. Soft tart notes, next to the sweetness. Delicious.

Borefts 2019 - Dark amber. Aroma and flavour are warming, sweet, boozy. Rich maltiness and background whisky balance well.
