1. dedication, devotion 2. No joking around with this feisty blonde. You think you know her, but she’s got some skeletons in her closet. She’s a fiery Walloon that will spice up your day. She’s hip and hoppening. American Centennial hops gives this blonde beauty a fresh, citrusy twist. Didn’t see that coming, did you? We did, because she was our very first beer. Brewed with devotion, innovation and class. You never forget your first. This thirst-quencher is a keeper.

Bottle. Frothy White good mostly lasting head. Dark yellow colour. Moderate malty and light hoppy and light yeasty aroma. Moderate bitter flavor. Some fruity esters and if it is peeted its not very present. Oily palate.

Bottle. High carbonation, foamy mouthfeel. Flavourwise somewhere between a wit, weizen and traditional golden. Relatively rich, also slightly strange. Good and easy drinking.

Huge fine & dense, off-white head, stable over finely carbonated, clear chromate yellow beer; staying under textbook lace; end of bottle solid yeast. Bit oppressive (root)spice nose, citruspeel, dry herbs. Sweetish, faintly toasted and expressly spicy flavour, peppery, and yeasty. Dry, yet slightly sticky. Medium bodied at least. As an umpteenth Van Steenberge strong blonde.

75 cl bottle from January 2014 (almost 2 years old), shared. Cloudy golden blonde color. Big head, white, dense, long retention and good lacing. Aroma’s: fruit, citrus, sweet & sour fruit. Retronasal there’s sweetness, malt, citrus, (sweet) fruit. Flavor is light to moderate sweet, caramellish, fruit, hay. Medium bodied. Finish is somewhat earthy bitter, light herbal. Style is unexciting, but this beer was pretty tasty and reminded me somewhat of a saison. Nice!

[9/27/15] Draught sample at Borefts After Festival 2015 in Rotterdam. Clear golden. Aroma of fruity esters, a bit of graininess. Slightly sweetish flavor, fruity, slightly spicy, with a mild bitterish finish. Medium-bodied.
