[ As Olde Hickory The Event Horizon: Spectrum 9 ].
ABV: 11.0%. Clear dark black brown colour with a small, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, bread, roasted, wood, vanilla, alcohol. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and light to moderate bitter with a long duration, wood, chocolate, bread, vanilla - barrel. Body is medium to medium full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft, finish feel is warming and light alcoholic. [20190927]

Sampled at Borefts Beer Festival 2019, day 2. Opaque black color, small beige to light brown colored head. Aroma is malts, bourbon notes, chocolate, vanilla in the exact right amount. Absolutely delicious. Flavor is delicious too: malt, dark malts, chocolate dark chocolate, moderately bitter. Lovely. Full body, average carboantion that realy suits the beer. Lovely. Winner of the festival for me I think.

At Borefts 2019. Aroma of honey, booze and chocolate. Flavor of honey, malt, booze, chocolate, spice, bourbon and some malt. Very nice.

Sampled at Borefts 2019, Friday. A black beer with a small tan lacing. Aroma of sweet strong chocolate malt, vanilla. Taste of sweet chocolate, Bourbon, vanilla, mild roasted malt. Nice!

Tap. Darkest brown color with beige head. Aroma is chocolate, wood, a bit raisins. Taste is chocolate, strong roast, raisins, burnt wood. Oily mouthfeel with low carbonation. Very good!

Clear dark red brown beer, no head. Aroma: lots of coffee, caramel, chocolate notes, malty, raw grains, some cow fodder even. MF: no carbon, medium body. Taste: very roasted, bitter, coffee, some caramelised malts, dry, cocoa powder. Aftertaste: bitter finish with lots of coffee, malty, slightly sweet, some alcohol, bit oxidized.
