ABV: 13.0%. Clear medium red colour with virtually no head. Aroma is moderate to heavy honey, cherry, sour honey - berries, earthy, light peat - whisky. Flavor is moderate sweet with a long duration. cherry, honey, sweet fruit - sweet berry, sweet honey, peat - whisky, earthy notes. Did not like the peat part of it ! Body is medium, texture is watery, carbonation is flat to soft, finish feel is warming. [20190928]

Borefts 2019 - Red. No head. Wood. Cherry pits. Syrupy fruit concentrate. Dry finish.

Tap. Deep ruby red color with no head. Aroma is peat, honey, cherry. Taste is cherries, funky, almonds, amarena cherry, peat, some tannins in the back, enough acidity to balance the sweetness. Oily mouthfeel, flat. Quite crazy, but nice!

Clear deep ruby red mead, no head. Aroma: very peated, chemical, lots of phenols, sourish impression, more peated, little fruity. MF: soft carbon, medium to full body. Taste: all sweet honey, sugary, soft acidity, some peat, lemon juice, honey, bit fruity. Aftertaste: more peat, some Marashino cherries, alcohol,sugary, honey, soft oxidation.
