35,5 cl bottle (12,5%) @ Timo A Vintage 2019 Aroma has ripe fruits (almost rotten), sugary sweet malt and resin. Flavour has alcohol, vanilla, ripe fruits and sugary sweet malt. Spices (cardamom?) in the finish. Quite boozy but still somewhat drinkable.

The Aromas are Amber malt, yeast and leather. Flavors are very sweet some bitter caramel and yeast. Heavy body and too sweet finish. Meh.

2012 bottle shared at the February MDBG tasting. Hazy bronze, thin fizzy off-white head, good retention. Aroma of cardamom, toffee, brown sugar, candied citrus. The taste is cardamom, candied citrus, booze, toffee. Medium bodied, boozy, hot. Aged very well.

2013 bottle. It pours a lightly hazed dark amber color with a small off white head. The aroma is full with rich bread and fruit. Lots of raisin bread, bourbon, caramel, fig... pretty nice actually. The flavor is the same. Raisin bread, bourbon, fig, and caramel. The cardamom is there, but has faded pretty profusely. There’s a very light hint of roast and nuts near the finish that aids in the dryness. The mouthfeel isn’t overly alcoholic or syrupy. Pretty drinkable for what it is. I really liked this one. I imagine the age has helped this one.

Bottle shared. Pours clear amber brown with a ring off white head. Aroma has unexpected floral notes upfront, with soap, vanilla, overripe fruits, oak, fairly light bourbon, caramel and toffee. Flavour is heavy sweet with the bourbon coming out stronger in the palate. Full bodied with soft carbonation.

Bottle sampled at RBSG. From notes. Boozy with caramel and dark fermented fruits. A decent amount of bourbon here too. Good, but not great.
