Het verhaal gaat dat Session bier in Engeland ontwikkeld werd. Het bier was zo laag in alcohol dat arbeiders het ook tijdens hun werk (session) konden drinken. Wij adviseren dit bier desondanks buiten werktijden te nuttigen: een fruitige en lichtbittere doordrinker waarbij het hoofd helder blijft.

Fles 33cl in Ermelo. Citrustonen, wat tropisch fruit, maltig, yeasty, wat bittertonen. (30-8-2025).

Draught, 3.9% at de Proefzaak. Buttery aroma. Cloudy amber colour. Small white head. The flavour is buttery. Low bitterness. Watery finish, but expected from the style.

Colour is hazy pale amber, tall creamy off-white head, good retention, sticky lacing. Aroma pale malt, light citrus, grass, spicy notes. Mild flavour, medium sweet and bitter, malty, citrus, passion fruit, grass, spicy notes. Mild sweetbitter aftertaste; light body, oily texture, soft carbonation, a very nice session IPA, very quaffable.
