150ml on tap at Agenturet Øl og Vinbar. A few patches on the surface of a pitch black body. Dotted spots on the glassware. Powerful aroma of vanilla chocolate and cocnuts. Mixed taste of grain, chocolate, coconuts and wood followed by a distant bourbon bite. Warming and smooth. Good sipper. (Tromsø 11.10.2019).

Helg igjen, og nå er det lenge siden jeg har avlagt Cirkus et besøk: brunsvart og viskøs med tett skum helt til bunns. En overdådig luksus hvor jeg nærmest fråtser i ulike dessertchokolader. Superfed og forførerisk. Faktisk er den også balansert, den blir ikke overmektig. An absolutely delicious box of chocolates.

Pours or at least oozes into the glass as a thick black colour with a small tan head. A rich chocolate, fresh cookies, caramel aroma with a hint of vanilla. A sweet creamy chocolatey taste, coconut, cookie, vanilla and praline flavours more bitter chocolate and some roasted notes in a long smooth finish.

Keg at the brewery Rotterdam. A jet black coloured pour with a lasting creamy tan head. Aroma is medium sweet coconut, praline cookies and cream, brown sugars, creme caramel. Flavour is composed of medium sweet creamy, coconut, light tang, bitter black oreo biscuit. Some jammy fruit. Palate is sticky sweet oily, moderate carbonation. Velvety.
