On tap at Circus. It's more or less black in the glass, with a light tan finger-thick head. Traces of curtains. The aroma has vanilla, roasted malts, chocolate and some coffee hints, alcohol and a touch of oat. It's full-bodied and warming on the palate, smooth and nicely carbonated, with quite a lot of sweetness. Roasted malts, vanilla, dark chocolate and some coffee, oat and vanilla in the flavor. Everlasting sweet, warming and rich finish. A delicious one indeed, perhaps a bit on the sweet side though, even for a pastry stout. Either that or not sweet enough. 191004

On tap at RØØR. Almost black, tan head. Dark chocolate, vanilla. Like a double-stuffed Oreo. Very sweet finish.

29 November 2019. At Billie's Craft Beer Fest. Cheers to the lovely Anke, tderoeck, 77ships & Ghent beer crew! Hazy black with a lasting, small, foamy, beige head. Strong aroma of Oreo cookies, cream, brownie dough, chocolate, sweet mocha, vanilla. Taste is a thick biscuity & chocolatey profile with hints of cream & Oreo, bittersweet mocha & some fondant, slightly nutty undertone. Malty, chocolatey finish, soft earthy hops, warming chocolate & cream jenever-like alcohol but almost hidden by the sweetness. Full body, creamy texture, soft carbonation. Very tasty, liquid Oreo alright.

On tap at Tilt, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma reveals lots of bourbon, intense cookie dough, and vanilla. Flavour is insanely sweet, with lots of doughnuts, marshmallow, heavy bourbon, and some cocoa. Very pastry-ish, but fun in small amounts. Lovely.

Keg at Tilt. Pours jet black with a dirty tan head clinging manfully to the glass. Aroma is hazelnut, chocolate, cookie dough, coconut. Taste is a lovely chocolate, hazelnut, cookie dough hit, bit of treacle but not too sweet with the boozy burn in the background. Great stuff

Cirkus 041019. Black color wno head. Aroma is vanilla, coffee, chocolate. Flavor is cocos, vanilla, chocolate, coffee, alcohol. Powerful and delicious beer.

Aroma: that tastes like Oreo all right, chocolate, (fake) vanilla notes, some caramel, nice stuff. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: chocolate, oreo, vanilla, sweet, lots of alcohol, nice stuff! Aftertaste: more of these same flavours, vanilla and chocolate.

Keykeg, half-pint; 5th Shifnal Beer Festival on 18th Oct 2019. Blow me away, loved it. Sweet, boozy and just so, so drinkable. Beer of the festival by a country mile!
