The Beautiful People is an elegant and effervescent India Pale Ale with a delicious mix of new world hop characteristics and old world esters reminiscent of Belgian classics. People Like Us are a fantastic socio-innovative brewery,from Denmark, run by autists. We met some of their team while collaborating in Copenhagen, earlier this year, and invited them over to brew with us in UK. Weve got much in common beyond the love of great beer with Danes and autists among our family at Yeastie Boys. Head brewer Rune Lindgreen is a true beer geek,much like our own JK, and together they had a lot of fun coming up with a deliciously drinkable brett-fermented India Pale Ale with the added complexity of fig and cardamom. The Beautiful People pours a deep gold with an aromatic mix of dark fruit sitting alongside the fruity and earthy notes of our three strains of Brettanomyces (Bruxellensis, Claussennii and Trois). A complex malt spine including pale and cystal rye malts carries more dark fruit, a distant memory of the tropics, and a touch of citrus. It finishes clean, lean, and very dry for a truly memorable and drinkable experience.

Draft. A golden beer with a lazing beige head. The aroma has notes of brett, caramel, malt, straw, and hops. The flavor is sweet with notes of brett, malt, caramel, spices, and hops, leading to a dry bretty finish.

6.7 Can at matt... Hazy amber thin white lacing.. Soft sweet passion orange fruits nose.. Little over cold.. Dry fruits... Light zezty.. Big bright fruits

On keg at the Hanging Bat. Appearance - cloudy reddish brown. Light and fluffy white head. Nose - elusive initially, then a little bit of apricot. Taste - a contrast to the nose, with real funky sourness cutting through the middle. Still a little stone fruit and possibly citrus. Palate - light bodied then long and dry through middle and finish. Overall - good though the IPA aspect has been beaten into submission by the Brett.

Tap, Pivomanija. hazy glowing orange, fruity soury pineapple and citrus nose, lots of pineapple. Solid bitterness, medium sourness, a bit funky in the finish. Light body and very drinkable.
