Sample at Daily Growler UA during the Bowling Green Beer Works Columbus Debut event on 02/28/2020. Cloudy amber-copper color with a medium off-white head that recedes steadily to an outer ring. Stringy lacing. Aroma of piney hops, fruit and malt. Medium body with flavors of resiny hops, grapefruit and bready malt. The finish is moderately bitter with a piney hop aftertaste. Pretty good overall.

Bottle thanks to Darrin. Pours hazy orange with a medium white head. Aromas of bitter hops, bitter citrus, orange peel, malts. Taste is very bitter, light malty sweetness, citrus fruits, orange peel. Not really my style of IIPA.

Draught at De Molen. A bit unclear orange color, medium to full sized white head. Smell and taste malts, hops, I'm reminded of some sort of citrusfruit but I can't figure out which. It reminds me of ripe nectarines and mandarin with a touch of sweetish grapefruit. Moderate to medium bitterness. I like it. 8-4-8-4-17

Can from BrewDog online. Hazy deep amber body with a thin white head. Low carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of pine, honey, marmalade and a hint of varnish. Flavour of caramel, stewed apple and blood orange. Medium body with an oily texture. Soft fizz. Rich and sweet. One of the darkest DIPAs I’ve tried. To me, this tastes more like a Barley Wine.

Brewdog Shoreditch. Keg. Very hazy deep amber beer, tidy cream colour head. Palate is light and fairly dry, decent fine minerally carbonation. Sweet pale malts, some dry creamy sweetness. Light pine. Modest marmalade and orange peel hops. Bare trace of spice. Dry crispy finish. No idea how fresh this beer is, I am assuming BD won't import aged crap, but my issue here is the severe lack of hop punch. Really only modest hopping here and for an expensive beer proclaiming itself as a DIPA that is inexcusable. Okay beer but rubbish DIPA.
