28//10/2018 @home - 33 cl bottle from a trade with jerre. Clear golden, sticky big soapy head; Nose is malts and spices. Taste is malts, spice, bit saison feel, very dry bit bitter ending. Turned out to be the best of 4 tripels tasted in a row.

Tripel created for a local supermarket in Lauwe (Western Flanders), the revenue of which is partially spent on the Alzheimer Liga. Thanks tderoeck for sharing. Medium thick, snow white, irregularly moussy, dissipating head over lightly hazy pale orangey-tinged golden beer. Aroma of banana, ripe peaches, sweetbread, meringue, pineapple, coriander seed. Fruity onset, banana ester, pineapple, apricot, soft carb, full and bit ‘fluffy’ mouthfeel; bready malt sweetish middle with lingering honeyish residual sweetness, coriander spicy touch in the finish alongside a herbal and floral hop accent but providing low bitternes, so that the sweetness prevails, enhanced even by a wodka-like alcoholic afterglow. Sweet and boozy tripel, very accessible to a traditional Belgian palate, which I suppose can only benefit Alzheimer research in this specific case…
