Bottle sample at a tasting at troubles' place. Thanks Odi. Cloudy orange. Funk, vinegar, fruitiness, wine, sourish, a bit acetic, bitterish touch.

Lively reddish pink beer with a head that soon fizzles out. Smell is tart berries and brett, both of which follow through into the flavour though it's not as sharp tasting as I expected. Floral, spiced flavours too as you might expect from a saison and a bit of woodiness from the barrel. Not as strong as I expected it to tste so it's surprisingly easy-going.

Bouteille 25cl de BBP Dansaert, BB 07/2024. Rosé-cuivre léger trouble, col fin blanc-cassé/rosé. Arôme marqué par l'effet de framboise et de barrique - nez vin rouge voire presque blanc avec l'effet funk. Léger bouquet de cave. Palais funk goodness, framboise sourness, touche un peu brett - vin rouge. Petite touche citrique sur la fin, et avec la framboise, effet un peu 'sour' de fruit de la passion couplé aux notes barriques. Une acidité contrôlée. Passe plus pour une BA Saison qu'une Berliner - selon la description officielle qui en est faite.Framboise funk sur la fin, petite épaisseur de bouche, pointe râpeuse du boisé.

On tap at BBP - Paris, pours a hazy reddish orange with a small white head. Nose is a bit muffled, with light brett, subdued raspberry and a touch of oak. Flavour is loaded with oak upfront, followed by raspberries and gentle wild character from the brett. The cohesion isn't the best, but I applaud the effort. Fun beer.

25cl bottle (BBF: 07/2024) from the brewery. F: medium, pink-white, average retention. C: reddish, light hazy. A: sweet and sour fruity, bit malty, red berries, raspberries, bit candy. T: medium malty base, red berries, bit lemon, bit puckering, raspberries, vanilla?, bit candy, medium carbonation, quite crazy combo all together yet it works for me, enjoyed.

23/08/2019 - draught tasting glass @Barrel Aged Night Fever II @BBP Dansaert. Amber colour, creamy white head. Nose is sweet amlts, candy. Taste is sweet malts, bit vanilla, red candy, nice MF.
