On tap at the Gist, Brussels. Shared with Simon and Chris. Hazy golden, firm creamy off-white head. Fruity and herbal, banana, yeasty, dusty. Grainy, slightly toasty, dry. Medium body. Tart finish.

27 April 2019. At Zythos Bierfestival. Deputy Taster: Anke. Cheers to Ama Deke, Erwin, John & Meeki! Hazy ochre, lasting, thin, frothy, off-white head. Aroma of yoghurt, sourdough, unripe apple & apricot, cheese, clove, pepper, bread. Taste is light fruity sweet, apple, apricot & some estery banana, sour core of brett, lactic acid, yeast & sourdough, supplemented by a subtle spicy, peppery bitterness, leading to a dry, grassy hoppy finish, where yeast, brett & yellow fruit linger. Medium body, slick-creamy texture, lively carbonation. Enjoyable, smooth ‘bretty’ ale.
