Draught at Ales & Lagers, Kuala Lumpur. Cloudy, red to black colored. AROMA- strong fresh coffee, chocolate. FLAVOR- creamy, neutral, slightly sour, coffee, chocolate, toffee, roasted malts. Medium bodied. Good.

Tap at RexKL, Kuala Lumpur. Poured a hazy dark brown colour with a mostly lasting frothy off white head. The aroma is yeasty, light malts. The flavour is moderate to light bitter, with a light, yeasty, earthy, light coffee, light hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average to soft carbonation. Not a stout at all.

On tap at REXKL, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma reveals earthy coffee upfront, with that lager yeast still coming through. Flavour is earthy, full of cheap, powdered black coffee, lager yeast, and stale malt. This is a very cheap, weak “stout” (really a black lager). Poor.
