A beer that is second to none in quality and flavor, and the pride of the Guatemalan people. Its flavor has a distinct and well-defined unique bitterness stemming from the hop plant, with a 5 % alcohol content.

12 oz. bottle, pours a clear pale piss yellow with a small white head. Nose is skunk cabbage galore and a little straw. Flavour is full of corn, some cabbage, and straw. Not the most offensive thing I've tasted, but it's certainly quite bad. Why would I drink this? Because it's my 100th country tick.

Gallo makes more sense with the cockadoodle on the label. Single from my Ingles mix-a-six. Mojito glass @home. Crystal clear, pale lager, wispy head. Smells of corn flakes, minerals & white pepper. Taste is sweet cereal flakes steeped in really watery almond milk. Sticky sweet, caramel, slightly sharp, lingering pepper, old lettuce, some mild bitterness & acid in the back of my throat. I could do this if it wasn't so sweet.

Bottle. Pours gold. Grain, light biscuit, slightly herbal, decently clean finish. Not much body. Pretty solid.

Famosa. 12 oz can from Total Wine - San Antonio. Pours a crystal clear straw yellow color with a white head and good retention. Light lacing. Grainy pale malt aroma. Light, sweet corn and grain macro lager flavor. Thin body. Watery mouthfeel. Good carbonation. Not bitter. Very light for 5.0% ABV. Generic but inoffensive.
