It is a delicious milk stout. The taste is with roasted malt, hop, discret notes of coffee, creamy and sweet, perfect for a winter night, 03.02.17, at Prélaz, purchased in Paris.

On tap at Hoppy Corner, pours jet black with a large tan head. Aroma brings out loads liquorice, roasted malt, and dark fruits. Flavour is extremely rich, with intense dark dried fruits, liquorice, roasted malt, and cocoa. Viscous, chewy palate, with almost too much abrasiveness. Fun stuff but a bit too brutal.

Virtually black with a beige, creamy head that clings to the glass. Aroma of Milchkaffee and chocolate. A hint of vanilla. Taste is sweet, full of vanilla and chocolate frosting with a roasted bitterness on the backside. Very well balanced though—the sweetness does not become cloying. Thick, oily body with soft carbonation. Just like a milk stout should be. Mmmm.

Many thanks to Erzengel for sharing! A very dark brown beer with a mid-sized good lasting tan head. Aroma of sweet dark roasted malt, chocolate, some vanilla and lactose. Taste of sweet chocolate, melasse, liquorice, mild roasted malt, hints of red fruits. Good!

Very thick, and ultra dense darker cream head over jet-black beer. Chocolate, milk chocolate, bit of liquorice, bit woody/plywood. In the flavour, mostly black, full chocolate, bitter (even some hops as an extra). Yet, after a few sips, there's definitely a special dry-ish sweetness, reverting it to milk chocolate and even praliné. Rainwater, wet green leaves; Chewy - the lactose really filling in. Medium, soft carbonation. Far from bad... le stoot.

Bottle bought at the brewery. Fresh roasted intense bitter nose. The beer starts fruity with a smooth and dry roasted back. Very fruity smooth, dry, lactic smoothness there, fruity parts with a bit of sweetish hints. Not too much roast or bitterness in the aftertaste, interesting.

Tap at La Fine Mousse, 22nd March 17. Pours black, no head to speak of. Aroma is light coffee, milk chocolate. Taste is smooth, sweet, but not overly, meaty, chocolate, milky, actually quite delicious.
