The Brewmasters Collection India Pale Ale is an amber dry-hopped and finely balanced ale with extra hops to give it a characteristically refreshing signature. The aroma is fresh and marked by a hoppy bouquet with notes of elderflower. The taste is malt balanced with a nice bitterness in the aftertaste.

Can. Pours clear darkish amber with small, quickly disappearing off-white head. Clear but not intensive aroma of citrus and hops, with notes of yeast. Bitter, hoppy flavour, with notes of citrus and fruit. Estery and slightly bitter aftertaste. Not the best IPA in the world but better than expected.

Can, 5.2%. Weak piney hop aroma. Clear dark copper colour. Small stable white head. The flavour is sweetish and caramelly with a mild but decent piney hop flavour.

On tap @ Fox and Hound, Aabenraa. Clear deep golden/orange with a moderate sized off-white head. Not particular strong, but fair enough aroma of caramel malt and citric fruit. Flavor has a nice biscuit type of maltiness with some bread, light caramel, citric fruit and light pine needles. Medium body and average bitter aftertaste with a backdrop from some sweet malt. Not very bitter, but considering this to be a traditional British inspired IPA (as I read is the intention) this is a rather nice one with actually more citric fruity bitterness than expected. Of course rather lame if compared with modern hoppy IPA, but as a blast from the past I somehow enjoyed the balance between the biscuit malt and moderate but refreshing bitterness.

Can @ Super Best. Pours clear golden with a white head. Very bready nose and aroma with a touch of citrus and grass. Medium bodied. Fairly balanced! Although not the most exciting - well brewed.
