Draught Medium but ultrafine & dense off-white head over brilliant deep garnet beer under thick lace. Textbook. Superb sherry & cherry aromas, lactic acid, vinous nose, invasive and intriguing, red fruit on precious old wine. Sweet-lactic nose, fruity (red fruit), sweet & sour cherries. Lipsmacking acidity, medium bodied, acidthinning and some -burn, close to dry-out effect. Arguably Hildegards’ best ever sampled. 9/5/8/4/17
