Draught Huge, light-greige head, leaving textbook lace over jet-black beer. Roasted, even a tad ashy/smoked; rainwater. Mild roast in the mouth, faint but present sweetness. Has a faint mineral touch their Gose is missing! Medium bodied, very creamy texture. Quite acceptable plain porter.

Bottle from Bradley’s, Cork [170416]
Jet black, fluffy rich tan head
Aroma of soft roast, earthy red fruits, hint of dark chocolate
Taste of dark malts, roasted malt, some earthy hops, touch of red berry fruits, hint of dark bitter chocolate
Palate Medium carb, light to medium body, tad thin, light sweet, soft bitter roast. Finish of dark fruits, soft coffee roast, light burnt toast, bit bitter earthy
Overall - OK porter - body bit thin though
