Bottle shared by Beersiveknown @ tasting at his place. Huge thanks Steve! Dark brown to black color, medium sized beige to light brown head. Smell and taste malts, dark malts, dry and light roast, lightly earthy. Nice.

Good stable cream-coloured head over black beer. Sweetish/roasted nose. Some wood. Sweetish, bit of molasses - with backing from roasted malts and dark bread. Finish has a tad harsh tannines. Medium bodied at least; medium carbonation. Quite decent stout - better than the classic Irish stouts.
