Black with a beige head. Roasted malts, burnt malts, cocoa powder, light sweet berries, a hint of caramel malt. Medium bodied. Finish has a burnt and roasted profile that is mostly dry and bitter. Bold profile throughout. A very solid stout.

Can. Black with a decent beige head. Aroma of roasted malts, dried fruits and a little bit of citrussy hops. Taste of dark chocolate, roasted malts, red berries, mousse au chocolate, dried fruits and espresso. Moderate bitterness. Medium to strong carbonation. Oily mouthfeel. Nice.

Op tap bij Bierlokaal de Uiver. Zwarte kleur, beige kraag. Flink veel gebrande moutaroma's, houtskool, koffie, pure chocolade, caramel, hoppig ook, flink bitter. Lichte tot medium body, glad mondgevoel. Lekker.

Can. Black colour with a mediumsized beigeish brown head, which leaves some lace. Aroma is toasted, roasted, some chocolaty tones with mild herbs. Flavour is grassy, coffeeish, some roasted and mild chocolaty tones. A bit dried fruits to it as well.

Can from Brother Beer. Black with a brown head. Aroma is sweet, roasted malt and licorice. Flavor is quite sweet and moderate bitter. Light dry and light bitter finish. Oily. 300621

Can. Almost black. Bready aroma with roast and caramel. Malty sweet flavor with only hints of roast, licorice and caramel.

Keg at the dockside tap. Pours deep reddish brown, nose is fruity, roasted, taste is similar, peppery, dry.
