A big beer with a even bigger difference between expectations and reality. Owl Day pours a bright amber colour, but the taste and aroma is all stout. It has delicious chocolate and coffee aromas and a rich and full body. Seeing isn’t believing after all…

Tap @ Flakhaven, Odense. Pours hazy orange with a white head. Coffee and cream nose- reminding me of kahlua. Medium bodied. Some green notes. Short bitter finish.

Draught Very good dense white head over hazy orange beer. Ashy, cacaopowder nose, bark fertilizer. Coffee, dried coffeebeans - nothing else. Medium bodied, medium carbonation, astringency. Sorry - this is awful, a gimmick. I wonder how the coffeetaste gets there...

Draught at KØ16. Weak fruity aroma. Cloudy golden colour. Good creamy white head. The flavour is citric with a roasted note in the finish. Tastes like added coffee or something. Quite citric still in the finish.

Cask at Brewdock. Pale caramel with a full head. Aroma of toasted malt and caramel. Flavour is sweet roasted malt, sweet caramel, dry roast finish, have had a few of these pale stouts lately and they mess with my head. Look like helles, taste like a stout.
